What to choose and why?

This page will help you to choose the right class for you.

Beginner

No experience or hardly any experience in running? No problem! This training (1 workshop and 5 lessons) is made for both beginners as well as the more advanced who are looking to re-start. We'll work (individually or in groups) on:

  • Relaxation
  • Breathing
  • Running technique

After completing this level you can continue with one of the following levels.

Novice

Want to learn how to run more easily? This training will help advanced runners reach 'an adaped mind'. This way you'll stay balanced no matter the circumstances. Your achievements will benefit automatically. We'll work (individually or in groups) on:

  • Your fitness and running technique
  • Breathing and lung capacity through Ujjayi Breathing
  • Improving Body and Mind cooperation through yoga and meditation

Progress along the path

Many runners have goals, such as running a (half) marathon and/or running faster. To The Stillpoint Movement running a marathon is not the goal, but merely a means to an end. The path to the goal is important. We'll work (individually or in groups) on:

  • Technique for running up- and downhill
  • Reaching your goal without pain in the joints, muscles and/or tendons
  • A happy and healthy lifestyle to run with more vitailty

Easy running

In this training you'll easily run a maximum of 15 kilometers in an aerobe state; effortless. You are familiar with the basic principles that we use in running, yoga and meditation. We'll work (individually or in groups) on:

  • Heart rate. Through different techniques we will lower your heart rate enabling you to prolong your running in a relaxed state.
  • Meditating during running, enabling you to shift your attention from muscular strength to mental strength. We'll train the mind, we'll refocus on the mental state.
  • Running effortlessly with a smile on your face.

Deeper

Give (yourself) the gift of a marathon! After the Easy Running training we'll work on heart rate and speed (pace). At a heart rate of 130 you'll run 10 km/hr. Want to learn how to run a marathon? Or give that gift to someone else? We will guide you to your goal. Simultaneously we'll tackle your lifestyle and look at your relaxation and nutrition/fat burning (IF, Keto).

Are you experienced in yoga/meditation? And ready to go deeper? We will guide you to the next phase, based on the principles of Bhante Vimalaramsi.
